ACCOMODATIONS

Forward is the master cabin with a center island double berth which is easy to get in from either side like a normal bed. The berth lifts up and has a very large bulk storage area on the forward end of the berth and four large drawers at the aft end of the berth. The forward cabin also features an enclosed head with shower, and separate sink forward of the head compartment. The forward cabin has plenty of light and ventilation with a large opening Lewmar hatch over the berth, 6 opening ports and two dorades.

Moving aft and up one step is the salon which has s large U-shaped settee to port with a high/low table that also folds in to allow easy access to the outboard storage areas. It can also be lowered to coffee table height or by putting in the filler cushions you can transform the settee into a large double berth. Across the cabin is the starboard settee that has an 600 amp hour battery bank beneath it as well as a liquor locker outboard (whose door folds down to form a unique drink table). Both port and starboard also settees make great sea berths offshore.

Next comes the large nav station to port with a level nav desk that makes an excellent ships office. Across from nav station is the large U-shaped proper galley with lots of counter space and storage, which has proven to be a real joy to work in both offshore and at anchor. Aft of the galley is the aft cabin that has double berth. The aft cabin has 3 opening ports and an over head hatch to provide good light and ventilation. Across from the aft cabin on the starboard side is the aft head which is at the base of the companionway and has one of the largest separate showers stalls you will find on any sailboat this size.

Aft of the head is one of the prize feature on an Outbound, the mechanics room, which allows you direct access to systems, provides storage for you tools and spares along with allowing you to stand up when you open the lazaret hatch and work at the workbench and provide light and ventilation into the mechanic room. There is also space for a washer/dryer in the mechanics room, and it is already plumbed for one if the new owner wants to add one.
