46′ Outbound, 2008
- US Documented, with no tariffs or import fees, ready to go cruising!
Ibis is a very well equipped Outbound 46 that is ready to go cruising. Featuring a Leisure Furl furling boom, electric halyard winch, air conditioning/ reverse cycle heat, generator, a lithium battery bank and much more.
The third/current owners have been aboard almost full time, sailing between Bahamas and Maine. During their time of ownership they have actively maintained and continually upgraded the boat. They have appreciated the stiff, stable, sea kindly motion and performance on offshore passages, as well as the ability to move safely and efficiently from cockpit to navigation desk or aft head in all conditions. The ability to take a hot shower in the secure shower stall, even offshore in moderate seas is a real luxury that improves your time at sea. The independence that is provided by the large tankage and sizable storage space are features that are sought after by experienced cruising sailors.
If you are looking for a turn-key proven blue water performance cruising sailboat Ibis is the boat you have been looking for. She has been well maintained by her owners and is now available for significantly less than a new Outbound 46 would cost to build.
